It is the passion project of Gregorio Uglioni, also the host, who is a lecturer in customer experience management, advisor to C-suite executives and an in-demand international keynote speaker on all things customer experience, leadership and service excellence.
Uglioni began his career as a consultant at Accenture, before going on to become head of business excellence and customer service at Swisscard, and a board member for various trade bodies including the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA). He currently juggles a busy calendar as a CX thought leader with his role as the head of business transformation at the Cantonal Hospital of Winterthur in Switzerland.
Meanwhile he is also the host of CX Goalkeeper, so-called because just like a soccer team relies on strategy to win a championship, so do customer experience practitioners need carefully planned customer engagement strategies to deliver success.
The weekly show features discussions on customer success, leadership, corporate responsibility and digital transformation. Guests are handpicked by Uglioni himself, and the list of names reads very much like a who’s who of CX thought leadership – including Chip Bell, Colin Shaw, Jeannie Walters and our very own editor-in-chief Melanie Mingas.
Within the show's format, Uglioni runs miniseries on a wide array of emerging trends such as how to approach the metaverse, which he tackled with Steven Van Belleghem and Anna Noakes Schulze, and harnessing agile solutions with Olga Potaptseva and Naeem Arif.
