Ilya Filipov brings to Talkdesk 15 years of career progression in insurance and financial services. He has held leadership roles in most facets of insurance, ranging from sales, to product, to customer service, to process engineering, to marketing, to strategy, to digital transformation, to finance and investments, to underwriting, to M&A, to legal and compliance. Prior to joining Talkdesk he spent five years with Westfield insurance, a super-regional carrier out of Northeast Ohio. At Westfield Ilya managed the company’s strategy in personal lines, middle market, surety, and small commercial. Prior to Westfield, Ilya was with Western & Southern Financial Group out of Cincinnati, Ohio, starting in an executive development role. There he held a variety of responsibilities, on the life insurance, sales and marketing, insurance operations, and investments side. A native of North Macedonia, and based out of Cleveland, Ohio, Ilya received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and his BSc from the University of Arizona.
