Elena Hyeseon Jeong

Store Design & Visual Merchandising Director The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (Le Labo)

As a design director with over 16 years of experience in retail architecture and visual merchandising, I specialize in creating innovative environments that elevate brand identity and enhance the shopping experience. My passion for design began in my early career as a visual merchandiser, where I developed a keen eye for aesthetics and consumer experience, leading me to expand into branding and business area. In my current role, I oversee a dynamic team of designers, guiding the development of compelling store concepts that blend functionality with stunning visual appeal. I focus on understanding the brand core and customer journey, ensuring that every design decision enhances engagement and fosters brand loyalty. I believe in the power of collaboration and effective communication, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. Outside of the office, I enjoy studying cultural trends, exploring art and technologies, and mentoring upcoming art or design talent, all while staying dedicated to shaping the future of retail design.
