Sunni A. Barnes, Ph.D. is the vice president of Patient Experience and Survey/ Quality Operations at Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH). In her role, Dr. Barnes is responsible for all patient experience strategies and associated operational improvements, close coordination with Marketing and Digital on broader Consumer experience initiatives, and survey/ quality operations related to data collection, quality control, and reporting. Her scope covers all service areas of the health system, including inpatient, ambulatory, emergency, and ancillary services.

Before Baylor Scott & White, Dr. Barnes held roles in survey research and biostatics as Assistant Director at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, in medical device research as Senior Statistician at Kinetic Concepts, and continues to serve as an adjunct professor for the Department of Statistics at Baylor University.
