Chief Experience Officer NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens

Dr. David Weisman has worked at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens since 2013, first as Director of Patient Experience and then as Chief Experience Officer beginning in 2020. He serves as administrator for Patient Relations, Food and Nutrition, Pastoral Care and Language Access. In all of his roles and responsibilities, he has fostered a culture of person-centered care for continuous improvement of the care experience.

He helped drive NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens to achieve Silver Certification for Excellence in Person Centered Care by Planetree in 2023. Queens is only 1 of 185 organizations world-wide to be certified at any level and only 1 of 65 receive Silver status.
