Brad Shaink is a strategic leader dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovation and technology. As the Senior Director of Innovation and IT Business Applications at Houston Methodist, he partners to drive enterprise-wide strategies that enhance patient experience, employee efficiency, and digital engagement. His leadership spans digital access, consumer and patient engagement, intelligent automation, IT revenue cycle management, and corporate business systems, all with a focus on streamlining access to care and improving operational effectiveness.
A key member of the Houston Methodist Center for Innovation, Brad collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to drive organizational transformation through technology enablement. He also serves on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Oversight Committee, ensuring responsible and impactful AI-driven initiatives across the organization.
With 28 years of IT experience, including 18 years in healthcare and 14 years at Houston Methodist, Brad is passionate about reducing friction for both patients and employees by leveraging human-centered design, emerging technologies, and process optimization. His career spans industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing, and logistics, bringing a broad perspective to problem-solving in healthcare.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Brad previously spent four years at Children’s Nebraska before transitioning to Houston Methodist, where he continues to drive innovation and excellence in both patient and employee experiences.
