Mila Milenkovic is the head of the Digital
Innovations and Applications Department, working on partnership program within
Telekom Srbija aiming to develop a range of different future proof services
such as IoT/M2M services, applications, cloud services, OTT services that are
adding value to core communication products and services for the customer. This
role includes scouting and negotiation with partnering companies, considering
new revenue stream opportunities and new business model development. The major
goal of the partnering ecosystem is bringing innovation to the portfolio of the
end user through B2B and B2B2C arrangements and supporting strategic projects
focusing both on new product and new business development.
Successfully negotiated and closed, several
projects in the public sector together with partners such as Video surveillance
for towns, Mobile insurance and Back to school projects for the residential
customers, Business cooperation with investors of the new buildings and
different other projects. Recently started focusing more on supporting the
startup community and developing partnerships with startup companies based on
mobile payments system of Telekom Srbija, especially DCB – Direct Carrier
Billing which includes also business cooperation with Google and merchants and
partners in the mobile payment area.
Mila graduated from the faculty of Electrical
Engineering, University of Belgrade. She also finished course Executive MBA HEC
Paris/Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade and holds Executive Master
degree. Since December 2018 she holds PhD degree in Innovation and management
area.
Exceeding customer expectations is what provides the wow factor. While digitally-born companies have established that standard, they’ve made it all the more difficult for Telco’s to match, let alone exceed it. But the strategic question for Telco’s continues to be ‘what’s the next growth engine?’ Diversifying the Telco value proposition beyond voice and data services is essential, but understanding where to diversify and how to deliver value in typically unfamiliar territory is informed by what customers want. A good understanding of customer needs guides us on choosing the big bets; and a good understanding of their expectations maximises the chances of success.
