Marco Leon got his start at the intersection of User Experience and Finance in the year 2000 when Citi was the first major institution to implement an email-based peer-to-peer payment system. He has worked on numerous banking initiatives since and currently serves as Head of Design - Affluent for U.S. Bank.
Collaborating with a "quad-squad" of Product, Engineering, Agile and Design, he leads teams of UX designers and content strategists on a variety of projects big and small. While it's easy to get lost in the complexity of large organizations, budgets and timelines, Marco has found that empathy for our end user can be a north star to align to, and constant calibration through CX metrics can keep us steady as we innovate. For his session, Marco will facilitate a discussion about the intersection of CX and UX disciplines.
