Tannasia R. Gonzalez, affectionately known as "T," is a visionary leader in healthcare management and is renowned for her innovative leadership in informatics, analytics, and quality improvement. She is a healthcare small data ambassador, reporting & data analytics executive, experienced Project Manager, a connector, a mentor, a continuous quality improvement specialist, an entrepreneur, and a playwright. Her career, deeply rooted in twenty years of experience, began with a strong foundation in the skilled nursing home environment, and has since then led to transformative roles in IT project management, data governance, data analytics, financial planning, and continuous quality improvement throughout various healthcare organizations and spaces.
Her strategic acumen was instrumental in the establishment of the Data & Systems unit at The Spencer Cox Center for Health (SCCH), which led to the creation of the SCCH Data Mall, a project that has been recognized for its significant impact on data management and reporting processes. This achievement was commended by the NYS AIDS Institute for its contribution to quality improvement initiatives. Her efforts resulted in over $2M in incentive payments and a remarkable improvement in HIV/AIDS quality KPIs by over 40%.
As a leader in healthcare data analytics, T also shares her insights globally through her informative podcast, "Let’s Talk Small Data with T." In her current role as the Deputy Chief Quality Officer at The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services in New York, T has been pivotal in driving a culture of excellence. She played a critical role in coordinating the agency's inaugural Quality Symposium and is developing a comprehensive data analytics program to strategically support the agency with data leading to significant improvements in decision-making and quality metrics.
Apart from her professional contributions, T's creative spirit shines through in her theatrical work. In 2023, she debuted her off-Broadway play "Halston's Amitha," a compelling two-act drama that has captured the attention of theatre aficionados.
T's educational credentials are equally impressive, holding a Bachelor of Science from Pace University and an MBA from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business. Her dedication extends to her role as a mentor with the Healthcare Leaders of New York and her nurturing of the next generation of healthcare leaders.
In addition to being a busy Healthcare Data Analytics Executive, T is a wife and mother of three boys.
