Dr. Kenney is the Executive Director of Patient Experience & Clinical Engagement at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH). She oversees the Office of Patient Experience, Guest Services Department, Spiritual Care and Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Department, and Clinical Engagement. Originally from Canada, Dr. Kenney moved to Tallahassee in 2014 to combine her passion for nursing/clinical engagement and patient- and family-centered care. She completed her nursing doctorate (DNP) in 2015 and second master’s in business administration in healthcare (MBA-HC) in 2023. She has worked as an executive director, a clinical nurse specialist, an educational leader, a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC), and a certified registered nurse (RNC). Dr. Kenney is also a certified behavioral analysis trainer and consultant. In her current role, she collaborates with all members of the organization’s multidisciplinary team, senior executive leadership, and the Board of Directors to develop and implement engagement strategies for patient and colleague experience. She has been in the nursing profession for 36 years, is a servant leader, and a lifelong learner.
