Evelyn Terrel

Executive Director of Strategy Nicklaus Children's Hospital

Evelyn Terrell, OTD, MHSA, OTR/L, FACHE, FATA, is an accomplished leader with over 18 years of progressive hospital administration experience. She has extensive operations experience leading multiple service lines and programs including strategy, global health, telehealth, rehabilitation services, orthopaedic surgery and other paediatric subspecialties. Evelyn currently serves as the Executive Director Strategy at Nicklaus Children's Health System, where she oversees and manages the Strategy & Business Development department and leads the strategic plan execution for the health system. She serves on various community leadership volunteer roles including the Board of Directors of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, as Vice Chair of the Chamber’s Healthcare Committee, and the Board of Directors of the Health Council of South Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Florida International University, a Master of Science in Health Services Administration degree from Barry University and a Doctor in Occupational Therapy degree. Evelyn is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and of the American Telemedicine Association College of Fellows. Evelyn is a thought leader and has presented in over 50 international and national conferences.
